Regional Center of Orange County

Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC) is one of 21 private, nonprofit organizations contracted by the State of California to coordinate lifelong services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Adult Services

In-Home Supportive Services provides a wide range of domestic and personal-care services to allow persons with disabilities and elderly individuals to live safely at home.

Adult Protective Services provides services to prevent or remedy neglect, abuse, and/or exploitation of adults who are unable to protect their own interests because of age or disability.

Aid Programs

General Relief provides temporary cash assistance to eligible indigent adults and to certain legal immigrants.

Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI) provides cash to certain aged, blind, or disabled, legal, non-citizens who are ineligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) / State Supplemental Payment (SSP) due to their immigration status.

CalFresh Program (formerly known as Food Stamps and federally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP) is a Federal nutrition program to assist eligible, low-income people purchase the nutritious food they need for good health.

Public Health Insurance

Medi-Cal is a public health insurance program for eligible, low-income families, children, disabled adults ages 21 years through 64 years, and persons 65-years or older.

Medical Safety Net (MSN) is a public health insurance safety-net program for adults, ages 21-to-64 years.

Medicare is a Federal public health insurance program for people ages 65 years and older. Certain people younger than age 65 may also qualify.
